The Big Question - Now has an answer!
When will we have this campout? The Campout will be:
June 14th,
15th and
16th 2013
We have reserved the campsite!
Register today if you want to attend!
Community Feast
This year we would like everyone to participate in a community feast. Having
done this in years past everyone enjoyed it and it provided a great
opportunity for everyone to mingle and get to know each other better. Doing
this on Saturday evening gives people who can not arrive until Saturday a
chance to participate. The way this will work is we will move tables we
have available near the central fire as a place to show off your camp cooking
and distribute the evening meal. Cook enough for you and your family and just
a bit more to share with others. I've shared stews, soups, sausages and
hamburgers over the years. It is a lot of fun and everyone has a great time.
Saturday Night S'mores
It has been my tradition to treat the kid in every one of us each year. I do
this by providing the S'mores Saturday evening. It has also been requested to
facilitate dancing and drumming around the fire we have people prepare these
tasty little treats elsewhere. We believe kids (youg and not so young!) should
be allowed to participate around the central fire too. What we will do is stop
fixing these treats around the central around 7:00 PM.
MidSummer Celebration
This year we are not planning a MidSummer Ritual during the campout for
Saturday. If you would like to host the ritual please contact us and we will get
the word out and help you organize the time and space.

Firewood Top
Firewood will be needed. Anyone who has access to free fire
wood please speak up as we will want to organize the gathering of the wood
before the campout. We have a small amount of firewood to bring from home; it is
very dry and will burn quickly. As you enter Priest Lake there is a sawmill on
the West, left side of the road. Directly across the street is the office where
they sell firewood - it is only $5.00 per very large bundle. Pick some up on your
way to the campsite for the large community fire we all enjoy! At the campsite
there is a large central fire ring and several smaller fire pits all of which
can be used for warmth, cooking and general gathering points.
